The project was an attempt to make an audience judge a book by its cover. Celebrating Hindi Literature is a set of three books written in hindi language that are considered to be some of the greatest works of hindi literature. The covers of the books are redesigned to visually engage a reader and potentially with the content, when placed in a book store. The visuals on the cover are created using paper illustrations to express the content of the books through abstraction.
The cover for Godan visualizes an underlying happiness in the harsh realities of life. Kamayani's cover is created to communicate the warmth and beauty of emotions that are written about in this epic poem. The lyrical nature of Dohas by Kabir are visualized using waves of water as inspiration and represented with fluid folds and curves of paper.
