Cocina Economica
The food at Cocina Economica pays homage to Mexican homestyle cooking and the space attempts to project the same experience. The visual language draws from a hand painted, slightly flawed Mexican vernacular aesthetic. The identity integrates a Mexican textile motif that can also be found in the restaurant table mats. The menu is painted on the restaurant doors as well as a paper menu that is handed out to the customers. The food, together with a vibrant visual language transports one back to the cocinas of Mexico.
